What is Infleqtion's Oqtant?
Quantum as a service is coming with a twist. Namely? Quantum Matter. 🌌
Hey Everyone,
When ColdQuanta back in the day became Infleqtion, I really took notice.
Based in Boulder, Colorado, ColdQuanta (now Infleqtion) traces its roots to Drs. Eric Cornell and Carl Weiman who created the first ever Bose-Einstein Condensate (BEC) at UC Boulder in 1995, a feat for which they were awarded a 2001 Nobel Prize. - Russ Fein
In the Quantum startup world, tongue-twisting products are sort of the norm!
But there may be more to this product launch than meets the eye.
In a world of Quantum computing, emerging tech, robotics and Generative A.I., new jobs will be created and new skilled workers will be needed.
So what the heck are we talking about?

Oquant refers to the world’s first quantum innovation platform as a service that provides groundbreaking access to quantum matter for researchers, innovators, and students working on next-generation quantum applications.
Oqtant will be used to build more powerful and versatile solutions for new and better sensors, atomtronic circuits, and signal processing, providing the next leap in technology innovation.
With access to quantum matter typically out of reach to many, Oqtant will fundamentally democratize quantum discovery and invention.
Oqtant provides the core capabilities to create and manipulate matter, anywhere, anytime, by anyone with internet access.
Not many people know this but Infleqtion has a Quantum Newsletters on LinkedIn you can subscribe to it here.
While Quantum sensing becomes more useful, Infleqtion - one of the world’s leading quantum information companies, is getting pretty creative.
We need all the Quantum education and research we can get to make these technologies viable, scalable and to prepare the workforce of the future. In that context, this is a very important launch. In this article we won’t be covering the business model per se, just the available information.
