SandboxAQ, Nvidia and Mysterious LQMs

Is Quantum computing even compatible with this iteration of AI?

It’s still unclear to me how an era of AQ might emerge. AI powered and harnessing the capabilities of Quantum computers. Sandbox AQ that is basically an off-shoot of Google Quantum believes in what is called Large Quantitative Models. Though, I’m unsure that’s the answer.

At the end of July, 2024 Sandbox AQ revealed they were partnering with Nvidia. Collaborating with Nvidia, SandboxAQ said they would leverage Large Quantitative Models (LQMs) and the NVIDIA CUDA-accelerated Density Matrix Renormalization Group (DMRG) algorithm.
