Geopolitical lines being drawn in R&D in Quantum vs. China

Quantum computing is clearly being weaponized by various National Defense budgets and is now fully implicated in how the G7 are viewing the emergence of a more aggressive and expansionist China. This even as China saber rattles vs. Micron, a key American chip supplier.
The emphasis on Japan is not new, several Quantum startups open shop there and one has to wonder why.
