Quantum computing is going global

Quantum computing is going global, as the German startup eleQtron has raised a significant round of €50 million in funding. I do not know too much about them, so let’s get into it.
The story broke on Tech.Eu, and was later seen in Hamburg News. It’s hard to evaluate Europe’s position in Quantum computing, given that many of the startups that get the hype are located in the United States.
Siegen, Germany-based developer of quantum computers eleQtron has raised over €50 million in new funds, including venture capital from Earlybird and Siegerlandfonds.
It’s a bit odd to see a Twitter account in German, but stranger things do happen in the Quantum tech startup space.
