Sometimes you can tell signs about an industry by some of the smaller investments, moves, funding and research announcements. Letβs see if that holds true in early 2025.
Lately BTQ out of Vancouver has acquired a stake in QPerfect. BTQ Technologies claims to be a quantum technology company and provides things like quantum security, verifiable scripting, hardware acceleration, and post-quantum blockchain scaling solution, as well as combines software and hardware to safeguard assets with post-quantum services and solutions.
The stake is β¬2 million in QPerfect, a French deeptech company specializing in neutral atom quantum computing and design automation. The proposed investment grants BTQ a 16.67% equity stake, with an option to acquire full ownership within 12 months.
