Nu Quantum raises £7m to pioneer quantum computer networking
📲 Cambridge firm’s mission is to build networking infrastructure
Welcome Back!
Nu Quantum has got me a bit excited today. How A.I. and quantum computing might overlap and intersect is going to get very interesting. Follow Nu Quantum on LinkedIn.
Pioneering Quantum Networks
University spin-outs are some of the most interesting Quantum computing startup models in Europe, and in the UK in particular. Nu Quantum, a Cambridge firm researching quantum networking, has secured a £7m investment to further develop key technologies that will enable real-world quantum computing.
According to the company, it is developing hardware solutions to create entangled qubit networks, including a unique high-speed computer network interface, photonic switching fabric, and control systems that will enable multi-core quantum supercomputers and quantum data centres.
