Hey Everyone,

I’ve always believed that of the major qubit approaches, Photonic approaches seemed a decent bet for scalability. So the General Manager of Microsoft Azure actually introduced or announced this investment in the company Photonic.

This is a Canadian startup that just hit a home run if you can count Microsoft’s backing significant.

Photonic is aiming to build one of the first scalable, fault-tolerant, and unified quantum computing and networking platforms, uniquely based on proven spin qubits in silicon.

Photonic’s platform offers a native telecom networking interface and the manufacturability of silicon. Headquartered in Vancouver, Canada, Photonic also has offices in the United States and the United Kingdom.
