Infleqtion is Going Public, Ticker INFQ ❄️
Is this an Inflection point for Quantum Startups that had trouble scaling revenue and real business value?
It’s game time for some Quantum computing startups, Infleqution formally called ColdQuanta, is going public, well in a manner of speaking! As Quantum SPACs of the past are behaving like meme stocks, it seems this team wants to get in on the fun!

Quantum computing and sensing markets expected to exceed $160 billion in aggregate by 2040, spanning artificial intelligence, defense, energy, space, materials science, and financial services.
SPACs have grifted millions of retail investors over the course of the last half decade or so, typically it’s a fast-track for low quality companies to go public. Typically these companies are speculative and aren’t making much money! The team announced a new CTO, Pranav Gokhale.
Let me refresh your memory - Infleqtion, a Boulder, Colorado-based quantum technology company, specializes in developing and commercializing neutral atom-based quantum technologies.
At least they have a nice ticker: $INFQ - so Infleqtion has entered into a definitive business combination agreement with Churchill Capital Corp X, valuing the quantum technology company at $1.8 billion and positioning it to go public under the ticker “INFQ.” Given the meme-stock nature of the stock market lately in late 2025, this is interesting timing.
